The Culture of Death

Deuteronomy 30:19

"I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;

I suppose one of my friends did it as a joke (not funny) OR one of my liberal associates did it to get my goat. It was an email sent to me regarding Michigan Senate Bill 776, from some outfit called, progressmichigan.org/choice..

On second thought the sender was more likely to be of the liberal bent  because any of my "normal" friends would know I find absolutely NOTHING remotely funny about the slaughtering of 50 million unborn Americans.

According to the aforementioned web site  Bill 776 prohibits "partial birth abortion" even in the cases of a woman's health (most time's meaning she's depressed), however the progressmich.org/choice bunch doesn't CALL it "partial birth abortion" instead they refer to it as:
"a rarely used, yet medically necessary abortion method and does not provide an exception to protect a woman's health (which is according the web site ) outlawed in Michigan and across the country."
I know lib's can't be bothered by a silly little thing like the truth but the fact is this hideous procedure is practiced every single day in America  in spite of it's apparent (?) legal status. Just ask millionaire "Killer Tiller" of Kansas fame.
Sedgwick County Court via Operation Rescue George "Killer" Tiller
https://www.dr-tiller.com/
If it's already " outlawed here and across the country", why be all up in arms about this Bill anyway and why hasn't  brother Tiller been brought to justice?
again and according to the article :
State legislators in Michigan were  pushing through an unnecessary and wasteful bill, which would prohibit abortion methods that were already banned by the ultra-conservative U.S. Supreme Court.
I would love to know what country this "ultra-conservative U.S. Supreme court" is in, I think I would like to MOVE THERE!
But alas, the left's "culture of death" marches on and never ceases in its relentless  bending of  the truth and with new leaders and even more gruesome ways to murder children.
For example take the grand pooh bah of intellectual left one Peter Singer Professor of Bioethics, University Center for Human Values, Princeton University, 1999-2004, part-time, 2005- , a man  whom  the New England Journal of Medicine believes has had "more success in effecting changes in acceptable behavior" than any philosopher since Bert rand Russell. The New Yorker called him the "most influential" philosopher alive.
Peter Singer, referred to by some as "Dr Death." Tiller must be jealous.
I'm not going to write about his views on sexuality, not in this post anyway but I may re-visit that in another article sometime on the vile professor Singer. No, for this article I will concentrate on his views on abortion and the "women's right to choose" to kill her baby. Mr Singer, who subscribes to the philosophy that  "Any activity is ethical as long as it is consensual" fails to see that a baby doesn't necessarily "consent" to being burned to death with a saline solution and chopped into little pieces.
Mr Singer believes it is morally ok to kill a baby up to two weeks after it is born. No wait, I'm wrong and when I'm wrong I will admit it. He DID say that but then apologized. NOW, he thinks THAT is to restrictive and it should be up to two YEARS after the child is born. If that's not bad enough, THEN you should be able to harvest its organs for any siblings you so graciously allowed to be born if THEY happen to be sick and in need of a transplant.

Good grief people, I mean COME ON, do you REALLY support THIS kind of ghoulish philosophy? He should be ....I just had to delete everything I wrote after "He should be" because I would be arrested.
Instead I'll quote something "good" that the professor said. He said:
If infanticide under "strict" conditions were legalized, the conditions would soon be loosened, reporters would discover inequities where it was allowed in some circumstances and not others, and soon infanticide on parental demand would become standard. That's what happened with abortion.

Ya think?
Currently you can kill your baby with impunity, right up to the instant before it's born. Soon the sky's the limit I guess. Don't like the college they want to go to? BLAM! Hey, it's YOUR right to choose....right?
 Pro choice?
In 2002, as an Illinois legislator,Burack Obama voted against the Induced Infant Liability Act, which would have protected babies that survived late-term abortions. That same year a similar federal law, the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, was signed by President Bush. Only 15 members of the U.S. House opposed it, and it passed the Senate unanimously on a voice vote.

NARAL wasn't even against the federal bill but Obama voted against this bill in the Illinois senate and killed it in committee. Twice, the Induced Infant Liability Act came up in the Judiciary Committee on which he served. At its first reading he voted “present.” ( Obama has voted "present" over 100 time's on various "tough call" issues, a real leader this guy) At the second he voted “no.”

The bill was then referred to the senate’s Health and Human Services Committee, which Obama chaired after the Illinois Senate went Democratic in 2003. As chairman, he never called the bill up for a vote.

Jill Stanek, a registered delivery-ward nurse testified before Obama about how infants born alive were left by doctors to die. He was unmoved, instead he was concerned not with the baby but with the women, in his words,

"What we are doing here is to create one more burden on a woman and I can't support that.”

I wonder what the  babies thought of their "burden"?

More recently Obama shared his "morality" with us by stating:

"When it comes specifically to HIV/AIDS, the most important prevention is education, which should include -- which should include abstinence education and teaching the children -- teaching children, you know, that sex is not something casual. But it should also include -- it should also include other, you know, information about contraception because, look, I've got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby. I don't want them punished with an STD at the age of 16. You know, so it doesn't make sense to not give them information."

Abortion, then "partial birth abortion" (in case you don't know what that is)

[D]eliberately and intentionally vaginally delivers a living fetus until, in the case of a head-first presentation, the entire fetal head is outside the body of the mother, or, in the case of breech presentation, any part of the fetal trunk past the navel is outside the body of the  mother, for the purpose of performing an overt act that the person knows will kill the partially delivered living fetus;
Now, infanticide. This MUST be stopped in America. This is not who we are as a people, or at least not who we were before the A.C.L.U. and their liberal accomplices in the culture of death brought us to this.
I am so sick of the "save the trees, save the whales, save the polar bears, and kill the babies" attitude that so many people have these days.

THIS, is what you "pro choicer's" fight for! Given a choice this PERSON would not have chosen this I don't believe!
I'm sure some of you lefties will skewer me with your usual "tolerant" comments but in this case I just don't care if you like it or not. Sometimes the truth hurts. When it comes to " right to life"  I'm a pit bull, so bring it.

The time for choice is before you have sex, not after your "punished" with a baby.
                                                 Just my opinion,
                                                         Bill

love how you people try to equate "pro-choice" or as some republicans like to call it "less government interference in personal choices" with "pro-murder"

Don't you right-wingnuts get dizzy chasing your tails all day. maybe get tired of sniffing your own butt-crack?

So when you get your way, and the government can get warrants to "search" your wife or daughters vagina to make sure she hasn't had an abortion, and get it wrong and send her to prison, will you stand there and say..."well, in the end, it is worth it..."

I am pro-execution and pro-life as well as pro-choice no one is pro-abortion.

I do want to say though that if it is a right to life issue then we decide when someone dies when we execute them, we take away their right to life. so then if we have taken away that right why not use them for experimentation....sorry using your blog to babble. I had a hard morning with a website.

I am personally prolife but I would never take the choice away from another woman and unless you are the father of said child, no, I do not believe that you should have the option to take that choice away.

A woman has a choice to allow something to grow in the body no matter how it got there(irresponsible sex, rape or whatever) reject it. I say something because I say baby she may say cells.

Then there is what if the child had downs syndrome? Are your feelings the same? Most of these children if they do not die Young end up being wards of the state in adulthood. You can check out adoptions sites, kids are not the only one sup for adoption, if you do not believe me. Not everyone CAN care for these children.

There are too many reasons one needs to walk in the others shoes to make any judgment call.

It is not a narrow topic.

I would prefer to have it kept between the woman and god.

As a mother of four I will tell you on no uncertain terms that what you say about, "most times means she's depressed." Is very irresponsible. After four boys i finally got my wish a girl and went to the doc my in my month and because of measurements they were worried about an EXTREME case of polyhydramnios we are talking well over 30 percent and if and they were worried about maternal hemorrhaging and in spite of "knowing" they could make no guarantee's and that coupled with the fact that had my amniotic fluid been at the horrible amount they thought it was the bady would have been in terrible shape as well.

They sent me immediately to the hospital for an ultra sound and fortunately she was swimming in baby pool and content to do somersaults and flips in the great lake that was my uterus but what if they had been right? I am personally pro-life but if pushed to that what would I have chose form my three little boys and my husband? How dare you, Bush or anyone else take that choice from me. Women should be able to have a late term abortion if the pregnancy has become life threatening.

Turns out my little girl shot out of me like a m60 in a bottle three pushes and no pain , it was amazing what pressurized water behind a baby can do . Glad the dock was a good catch and had a good sense of humor because he was drenched from head to toe.

I have never had and abortion and never plan to but you would be better of teaching your own not to do it than trying to speak for a woman you do not know, namely, me.

'after all they don't have a gargantuan lobby like say...for instance...the gays. ' So it's okay to kill and bash gays because they have a lobby?? How do you define 'gargantuan'? Are you against gay people? Do you vote against people who want to give gays EQUAL rights???
You are talking about 2 different subjects and that's why right wing neo conservatives get no respect.

First of all, IT WASN'T ME! I didn't send that email! Liberal you think that I am, I am definitely NOT in favor of abortion. my first grandchild was aborted. Still hurts. I wrote a few blogs a THE OTHER site about my feelings on this subject and really stirred up a hornet's nest! (Maybe I'll recycle those posts, just to get everybody's blood surging again.

And this has to do with my comment how??? I was talking about sex education to, maybe, stop, prevent some abortions.
I'm not getting into a Dem. vs Rep discussion as one side will never change the other sides opinion--I just gave a possible solution to something you are against.

Regarding your last paragraph--maybe, just maybe, if the right wasn't so dead set against only teaching abstinence and taught our daughters and, yes, sons, about sex and prevention of pregnancy and STDs there would be less of both and less abortions but I guess that's too logical.
