The cooler weather always makes me sleepy. But I tend to stay up past my bedtime when I get into something enjoyable. We have this show called, "One Girl, Five Gays" here on MTV Canada and it's on late (it gets pretty raunchy sometimes but is HILARIOUS) and I've been known to fall asleep on the couch after it. Oh, but it's worth the fatigue.
How have I missed this blog? I'm loving it!I love downtime with a favourite show on DVD. There's something indulgent about watching a whole bunch of episodes in a row. The only trouble is that I tend to eat.
We just moved to a new house, which I cleaned from top to bottom before moving day. It is *so* nice not to have to fall clean, aside from the normal day-to-day.Glad you had such a wonderful weekend...it sounds lovely.
Have FUN!!!
I honestly think I peed myself a bit while I read this. Especially the part about the twelve year old at the phone store.Thank you for brightening my otherwise rotten day...
It's always best to speak out. They can't know there's a problem if you don't.Have a most wonderful reunion.
I have actually started to enjoy Big Bang Theory. A friend of mine lent me season one for the kids to watch while I was recovering from a nasty infection (you don't want details...believe me). Once I allowed myself to giggle a bit at Sheldon it was pretty amusing. I found so many similarities, it was like laughing about my own life on some days.
Do you need new glasses?
Government needs to look good on paper...private contractor is happy to line his pockets with money...I am all too familiar with that concept. We have to have emissions tests here based on the age of our cars. If you buy a used car privately you need a test in order to register it.
So, um, what do you do to relax then? If not watching movies or reading books, etc....
I think you should go anyway or at the very least have *some* sort of adventure. But I've never thought of you as a pessimist...
It has been wickedly hot here, too. Hard to have energy to do much until the sun goes down and the air cools somewhat.
I think your grandchildren are lucky to have you.
You are one good neighbour.
I admire your cheek biting abilities. I'm not sure I would have been able to hold the laughter in.
I think that your director has too much time on her hands.I've never really heard of any workplace asking employees to dress *more* casual. That sometimes give carte blanche to lazy people who will dress like slobs...
