Witnesses ...

Just waved off a couple Jehovah's Witnesses at my door. Nice folks, but wrong address.

I am always nice to them. It must be tough to knock on doors and try to convert us heathens.

Hobbes is about the same. I am doing my best to make sure he eats. I give him another 1cc of Prednisone mixed in tuna juice today. It does make him hungry.

Back in the upper 60s today. We had a dip in temperatures for two days and it looks like some overnight frosts ahead. Rain coming, too.

I am progressing out of the pneumonia cycle. I feel a little more energetic each day but not enough to take some clubs to the driving range.

I don't want to spoil it for you but the re-released TITANIC in 3D will break your heart again. The boat sinks in this movie, too.

Lasagna last night. It was good but all I could eat was about half of what I would have eaten before I got sick.

Lots of leftovers.

The tornado warning sirens just went off. They usually do that on the last Friday of the month at noon! What's up?

Hobbie sounds stable, which is good.
Glad the med is supporting his appetite.
And glad you are feeling better.
Sending hugs....

I try not to watch any movie where you know that something is going to sink at the end. You know Yiddish? How come? Chapter and verse please. Think of Hobbes a lot. You are taking good care of him, I know. But I think thoughts across the ether help too.

Your paragraph about the Titanic cracked me up. So good to laugh out loud!

A J.W. knocked on my door the other day awakening me from a nap. I told him to go to hell. Not really, but I wasn't happy.

I am glad Hobbie is eating and purring again. It is so difficult for you but
I am glad the prednisone helps a little.

LOL! For a while, we were getting weekly visits, which was funny. Who'd a thought, they would have been so persistent with a gay couple. I finally got sick of it and set our car alarms off. They never came back after that Saturday!
Feel better!

One time when I lived out on the coast two ladies buzzed our door and I saw right away the Watchtower they were preparing to hand me. So I greeted them in Yiddish and never spoke an English word. Eventually they gave up, wished me a good day, and left.

I hope the warnings are nothing aside from a misfire... I am glad you are slowly starting to feel better. Hopefully after all your rest you will be feeling 100% again.

They did the siren because one of the schools had a practice emergency drill.

So far today we've had thunder and sunshine. Been planning to do a blog about last night's freeze... guess I should get to it instead of talking about it. Give Hobbie a pat on the head for me....
