I completed my Christmas shopping in one day, on one trip.
Due to the personal financial crisis, one that makes Citibank and AIG's look like a farce, I had to limit the spending this year.
Here is where I went to shop:
1. Kroger
2. Wal-Mart
Here is what I purchased:
1. 5 cat toys, $1.99 each
2. 10 little bags of cat treats, $1.29 each on sale!
3. 1 wind-up musical water globe with "snow." (Bisbee gets one every Christmas.) $14.95
That's a 'wrap.' I am all set for Christmas morning. All that remains is to pack the stuff in the little bags and add the excelsior, hide them in a closet, and continue to add water to the tree.
Meanwhile, I will watch the country spin down and go broke. Merry Christmas, everyone.
