we cut the pictures out and keep if they are good,- then trash em .CATH copies them and uses when making birthday cards
I have a lot of pretty old calendars from back in the day when we used to spend money on them, and packrats that we are, we saved them over the years. Mr. YouKnow figured out which years are the same calendar layout, and we re-use them when their time rolls around again. For example, 2013 is the same as 1974, 1985, 1991, and 2002. I think the moon phases are on different days, but we don't care about that.
Leap years are a little bit tricky - one calendar is used for January and February, and then another is used for after February.
Someone will save the Mayan calendar and centuries from now, the world will end again.
They put security guards in all our schools because they were afraid the nutsos would try to shoot little children. Sort of a mass hysteria thing.
That business was so misunderstood and the media made not attempt to set things straight. The event was more like the celebration of 2000. Not *the* end, just the end of an era.
Now that we've survived the old Mayan calendar prediction, we know that the only thing that can destroy us is our own congress.
