What Can We Do?
What can we do to help make sure there will be no more Sandy Hook massacres? We can do something, and we should. If you or your children overhear any threats, plans or schemes to injure or kill anyone - whether it is directed at classmates, teachers, neighbors, the President of the United States or ANYONE - you must report it to the authorities. It is your duty as a citizen and a human being to do that. Even if the threat was casual or from a family member, do it. Talk to the police. If the threat is against a child or a school, act immediately. If it is against a government or someone remote from your community, call the FBI. Don't hesitate. It is your duty as a citizen to act.
