Glad to see the Australian right wing nut about to get his due. As for the UK's tabloid, NEWS OF THE WORLD, it was never about news. As for the hacking his minions used to write their libelous stories, he shoud be entirely responsible for their crimes.

When he bought THE WALL STREET JOURNAL I quit reading it. I never ever watch FOX-NEWS.

There is so much exploitation and abuse by the media these days, it's interesting to see what finally is so outrageous as to shock everyone into taking action.

The U.S. is conducting its own investigation. He became an American citizen to take advantage of benefits and tax breaks and is therefore subject to our laws. I love it. I don't watch Fox "news" either, and I haven't read the WSJ since I left The Times when it was part of my job to do so, along with many other dailies in New York and Europe, available on our wires. I just realized I said "our" -- It was my family and due to benefits and the Credit Union, I am still part of it.

The FBI has opened an investigation into allegations that media mogul Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. sought to hack into the phones of Sept. 11 victims, a law enforcement official said Thursday. The investigation is possible because Murdoch is a U.S. citizen and his News Corp. empire's home base is in Delaware.
