I just returned from visiting my Mother, or I should say - from watching and listening to her sleep.
She sleeps 99 percent of the time now. The good thing is that she says she has no pain. She recognizes me and visitors. You have to get right down to her head for her to hear you speak.
She weighs around 75 pounds and loses every time I see her.
The hospice people come right to her room at the care center.
Her memory still seems the same, no Alzheimers but the Dementia takes away short-term recall.
I have been there three times each day this week and will spend another two visits today.
My brother left by car from his home in Jacksonville FL at midnight. Last text said he was in the Carolinas somewhere.
I am doing all right, but the housecleaning that I do between trips over to see Mom is tasking.
It has to be done or my brother will tell everyone I live in a pig sty. LOL
I live in a cat house.
