Total work backlog. I have seven design jobs in various states of completion or incompletion. The work comes from a small agency in SoCal, where I lived from 1976 until 2005/6's winter. Suddenly, their biz has really picked up. Good sign for the economy because California always leads a recovery.

But I remember how it also always leads the crashes.
