Hobbie Update ...

There really isn't any more I can do for Hobbes. I thought he would die overnight. This morning he managed to get up the stairs and was there on the landing, waiting for me to wake up!

Last night his respiratory difficulties were awful. I had him on my lap while watching a very very long opening day baseball game.

I don't have any idea how this is going to develop except that it is terminal and there isn't anything I can do except keep giving him Lisine and steroids.

wow!this is so sad there.Both of you are in our thoughts here from the School House.
I feel for you and know what your going through.He will be a big loss.

Just keep loving him to the end. I am so sorry you are both going through this. I lost my Cleopatra last year. Hang in there for him.

Why not bring Hobbes up to your bedroom at night so he won't have to climb the stairs? Or sleep downstairs for a while if that is workable. I hate to think he is struggling to get to you.
