Fried white and yellow corn (...sliced right off fresh ears of corn. I don't recommend using canned corn. Too old. Too juicy.) with chopped green onions, pepper a touch of salt and some Worcestershire sauce. Fry in butter and constantly stir it.
Chicken breast strips rolled in garlic and pepper, wrapped with thick hickory-smoked bacon. You don't need oil or butter in the skillet with the bacon. Fry them, turning once.
Serve on the bed of fried corn.

Pastrami is a wonderful idea. But I'd have to order it from Katz's in New York. What passes for corned beef and pastrami in SW Florida is a joke.
I know all about the sliced fingers but the dinner sounds wonderful!!
sounds great and you did not invite us.
will show these to my cook, if they taste as good as they look am in for a treat
Looks wonderful. Ed won't, however, eat bacon. Nor pork chops, but he will eat Chinese pork ribs. Go figure.
Oh! Lovely! I'll bet it smelled wonderful.
Be careful slicing off the kernels from the cobbs. It is easy to take off a finger tip. Slippery boogers, those corn cobbs.
