Bunjii & Tree ...

Here's Bunjii (7) in the living room with our tree. As you can see, he is not feeling well. We are spending lots of evenings with him on our lap.

Doobie is living in the cellar now, so he won't pester Bunjii. Bunjii has Hobbie to sleep with and they are good buddies. It seems to me that the cats know his time on Earth is drawing short.

Prayers for Bunjii. He is living a good life and will be happy as long as he's with you and Hobbie. It is a nice picture... I agree with Hobbie.

Poor Bunjii. I think you right about how animals seem to know when they need to focus on making the most of their time.

A note: I gave up on the Veterinarians a long time ago. The surgery in June was really awful for him, and it did buy him some time. To repeat that would not have helped much. He is a victim of the "old" vet practice of dosing all their shots in a single hypo shot in the shoulder region. That is what caused the tumor, which had metastisized by the time he had his earlier surgery to remove the tumor. They give the shots these days in separate hypodermics in more than a single place on the animal. Unfortunate, but some medicine is still emerging from the stone age.
