Rain just began. Thunder and lightning. I miss Hobbes rushing to the front windows when he heard lightning. He loved to watch, especially after dark. He was a special cat. The other cats would go hide.

So with rain, there goes my annual special golf outing on the date of my birth. I managed to scrimp up forty bucks the past week to go play at Red Hawk Run with a 50 percent off coupon. That's not happening tomorrow.

I'll save the cash for Quincy's appointment this week at the Vet. He needs his annual, with the appropriate shots, and I am going to ask for a blood test for FIP, just in case.

A cat just crawled under my feet beneath this desk. Thunder.

My heart goes out to the families of Junior Seau (NFL football player retired) and Adams Yauch (Beastie Boys member, age 47). So many young celebs are going away.
