(Not the kind you drink made from grapes. Just the kind of things people do that gripe my a$$.)
1. Lack of cell phone etiquette. If a fellow golfer whips out his iPhone to check on his babe, his office traffic or his messages, I ask him to please turn the damned thing off. Terrible etiquette. A business colleague out in CA recently interviewed a High Scool student (male) for a summer intern's "go-fer" job at his small agency. While my friend explained the details of the proposed job, the young man sat across the desk from him texting on his cell. Needless to say, the kid's application went in the round file. I expect people to turn off the power on their phones if they are in a restaurant with me. If their phone rings, I always ask them to just turn it off.
2. Political lying. Re: to many to number, but the most recent is a spoiled brat young congressperson from NY City who lied in front of the press and the citizens of the US. He should - MUST - resign. I don't care if the fools are Democrats or Republicans. I care if they are liars and I don't want them in our government at all. Not one more moment.
3. Political TV channels. I no longer watch MSNBC or FOX News. Both are extremist propaganda networks for the left and the right. Anyone connected with either is off my list of decent human beings.
4. Animal abuse. An eye for an eye. If a human uses dogs to fight to the death, the punishment should fit the crime. Let the dogs have him. If someone makes another crush video of a woman in spiked heels killing a cat, she and whoever filmed the video should be impaled. Our "justice" system sucks.
5. There are many more dislikes in my gut but I have to go feed the troops here. It is 95F at 7:20 and the humidity is so high my headband feels like the surface of a swimming pool in the Amazon.
your points. I can't stand cruelty to animals, lying, and yes Kris the
cell phone thing is age related. I don't feel it is necessary to constantly track my family and friends but my children and grandchildren
are on it every day all day.
