Can't Keep a Good Dog Down

The vet was very pleased with Benny's progress this morning. The big guy has his bark back and his teeth seem to be working fine. He was laying in the yard shredding twigs--one of his favorite pastimes. I'd be nice if I could train him to stack the twigs in a pile, but it doesn't work that way.

I think today's picture will post properly. Not sure what I did wrong yesterday, but the code looks correct tonight.

He's doing so well that I have to remind myself that he's 15 and it can't last indefinitely. Too bad about aging for them and us.

Tolerated the cone years ago for 10 days when the surgery was on his hind end. I think his head and neck were painful this time. He also had a molar removed which was probably the cause of the problem in the first place. I sprayed it with peroxide for 7 days Buster did his part to clean it up too.
