Sorry to hear that John--I still haven't gotten over losing my first dog Butch when I was in my teens--a pet is always with you!

He was kind of indestructible! Ten years ago he went to the bottom of a drainage gully at a camp ground and passed out. The the tumor on his leg that was removed (the only time he wore a cone) and the infections from a bone chip. We had to bury him today since it's warm and he's too big for the freezer. Buster was distressed by the process but he seems to be processing it in some way: so am I.
