News Hogg

So, the Congressman from New York finally admitted to something we all already knew. Yet another high profile male drags his wife through the excruciating pain of public disgrace of the vicarious sort. Democrat, Republican, it matters not to me. Infidelity is infidelity, regardless of the circumstances. Now all the lefty bloggers are out there furiously deleting all the outrageous conspiracy and out-on-a-limb posts contrived to protect a beleaguered Democrat.
In other news, Palin was right in her retelling of the Revere story. Here's a little link. Now, I'm not really a big Palin fan, but honestly, when the time comes to stand up for the under dog, count on me. And this time she was right. Don't think for a minute that she didn't research the history of the area she was visiting before making an appearance. I realize most of you on MyBloggers hate Sarah Palin. That's your choice. I'm not exactly in love with her, but she was right.
I'm reading all kinds of news and tweets and feeds these days. It's all very interesting, but frankly, it gets so old at times.
On the economy, well, let's just say anyone who is still blaming Bush needs their head checked. This is Obama's "recovery" and it isn't working. The numbers are out and there's just no other interpretation of the facts. He'll probably start swinging even further to the right in coming months in an effort to insure his re-election. He'll probably win. :(

And do you really think McCain/Palin would have done any better? Miss Kill all the wolves? Miss Mother of the Year? Miss I have overshadowed McCain, elect me next? Miss Whiny?

I really don't know. She's not exactly my pick, either.

You don't turn around an economy as complex as hours in a short time. The s... pile was enormous and Obama is cutting it down. It's going to take a while. Why don't the rich give up their tax cuts? Why is the deficit only on the backs of the middle class and the poor? Those tax cuts have been in effect for 10 years -- where are the jobs they are supposed to create? Trickle down economics is a myth. Give a rich man more money and he doesn't create a job, he buys another house.

You're right, turning around the economy cannot be done in a short time, but there should have been at least noticeable improvements by now. Obama himself promised unemployment lower than 8% by a certain deadline and has miserably failed to deliver. Obama's philosophy is flawed at it's core. Heavy government intervention stifles growth. At some point, the blame game and finger pointing have to stop and leaders must take responsibility for the consequences of their leadership. It's time for Obama to start owning his, instead of saying things like, "We don't know what happened yet." (his words, not mine)

I'm a huge fan of the comedienne Palin. We need laughter in politics these days.

Speaking of laughter, dare I say it...how about that Wiener?

I loathe Sarah Palin and you can bet your boots I am going to support
Obama. You must be in hog heaven living in Oklahoma with the Republicans
running riot and passing legislation that will be overturned. I still
love you though.

Overturned?? Says who? See you soon.

Sarah Palin may have touched a few facts, but her delivery - the doncha' know, golly-gee way she talks undermines her credibility.
comment by troutbend on June 6, 2011 8:10 PM ()
Yeah, she's not exactly presidential. But there's a lot and I mean a LOT of people who just absolutely love her.

MMMMMMMMM--if I was a betting man I would bet, from this post, you are a Republican.

Certainly not me!!! Honestly, no one party really describes how I feel.
