Our second day in Philly started for me with an early wake up. I promised to get tickets for independence hall so I left the hotel at 8 am and when arrived in the visitor centre there already was quite a queue. It went quite fast so at 9 am I was back in the hotel for breakfast. We walked into the centre again, and had a good tour in independence Hall. Again, we received a lot of information (some things we already knew from our tours in Washington DC lol) and it was quite interesting to see the places where it all took place in 1776. 12 of the 13 states signed it (They told us that Rhode Island still need to sign, but I don't know if that really is true lol, perhaps Aaron knows...) After a quick lunch we left for the national constitution centre. An interesting museum with a good multimedia show about "we, the people....". also a lot of interesting things about subjects of American politics, like healthcare, elections, slavery, freedom of....whatever you can fill in (and was it really freedom for it). Also topics like gay marriage, difference between republicans and democrats were there.
The next day, our last in Philadelphia we left for the Museum of science. To get there we had to walk quite some miles (about 90 minutes). On our way it was possible to take some pictures at the "love" statue (nice to see it in real in stead of in movies). The museum itself was quite interesting. Special the things about electricity were nice to experience. Also a lot of items about the human body were explained, including a walk in "the heart".
After some nice drinks in an Irish pub and a great "Cuban" dinner we left to our hotel again.
