2 Weeks ago my subscription for my cell-phone ended ( I hope that is the right description of it). So I went to a shop of my phonecompany (Orange nl). I asked them for a new subscription and they told me to take care of it.
Problem is that my provider (orange nl) is taken over by T-mobile nl. So my subscription will become a T-mobile one.
So i need to migrate. Well no problem you should think.... False!
With a subscription you get a new cellphone as well. I had chosen for a Nokia 6300 (the newer version of my old cellphone a nokia 6210i). The Sim-card for that phone belonged to T-mobile, but I wanted to keep my old number. No problem the retailer told me. Everything would be settled in a week. I just needed to put my sim-card into the cellphone on March 4 and all should work ok.
Well last week it was March 4, so I had put in the card and tried to phone my own number at work. No signal! Number unknown in the T-mobile network. After some quite long phone calls it was clear to me that the contract wasnt send to T-mobile so all things need to be done again.
I put back my old Orange Sim-card and I am still not migrated. Well I am curious when they will contact me for a new try to migrate.
BTW I like my new cellphone. Its easy to use and contains only the simple things like txting and bluetooth.
