Finally I am back from my holidays. It was a great trip for 24 days.
Lets start at the beginning. (btw this vacation some things also kept me busy like Martin's surgery and D's problems (Shirkan) with his boyfriend, but i will write later about them)
Sunday July 6 wake up time 6.30 and time we drove away 8 AM.
We had planned to drive 800 kilometer (500 miles). But after 2 hours we ended in a queue. 14 kilometer (8.5 miles) in 4.5 hours. So we ended halfway Germany and made a plan to drive the next day 800 kilometer in stead of the planned 400. Destination was Austria.
Why there? Well when our kids were younger we used to have our holidays there. So it was nostalgia...lol. The village there was paupered (hope correct english) so it was a kind of desillusion to see it all again.
We stayed for 3 days there in Karnten Austria en then continued to Slovenia. We had booked a campsite in Ljubliana the Capital.
What a very beautiful country. We visited a castle which was build in a kind of cave. There a little accident happened. My wife cracked a muscle in her thigh so she had some walking problems.
Next day we visited the capital itself. Such a marvelous town. Friendly people (very english orientated btw) beautiful buildings and a lot of terraces to sit and watch people. It was great.
Back on the campsite we enjoyed the swimming pool, lots of fun there and a lot to watch as well ;-)

Well I wont write too much just try to write regularly from now on. I will continue tomorrow with our 2 weeks Croatia.
