Michelle Obama

Good Morning MyBloggersville:

This election year continooooos to get stupider and stupider. Case in point: Michelle Obama, wife of presidential candidate Barack Obama(Jackass-Illiois) was jumped all over by holier than thou media pundits(or should we say media putzes)for making this statement; "For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country." What in the hell was wrong with THAT?" Nothing. Media gasbags (most of them white, it should be noted and the ones that weren't were butt kissing oreos) went on and on about how she should've been proud of her country because she had all these opportunities to go to Princton, Harvard, get a law degree blah blah blah. Lemmme tell ya. Michelle Robinson Obama had to work damn hard for those opportunities. Nobody handed her a Goddamn thing. In case those white media jerkoffs have forgotten, America has not been kind to its citizens of color until the late '60s when it became "fashionable". Now that it seems Americans of every stripe are making more headway into breaking down the walls of bigotry and racism by supporting her husband, an extremely well qualified person of color for the presidency. Isn't this what we all want? Where,as Dr. King once said, people are judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character? I think what Mrs. Obama meant was that she was proud that her country had finally decided not to let color cloud their choices.
I for one like Mrs. Obama very much. She's savvy, smart, speaks her mind and doesn't take any crap. Especially from Mr. Obama, I get a feeling. She handled this whole dust up with dignity, grace, and stuck to her guns. She'll make a crackerjack of a First Lady and in eight years, who knows? Maybe she'll take a crack at the Oval Office as Hill is doing now.
In addition to the media dickwads shooting off their pie holes on this, Cindy McCain, wife of presidential canidate John McCain (Pacyderm-Arizona) had to chime in with her two cents. Quote: "I AM proud of my country. I don't know if you heard those words earlier...but I am very proud of my country." She said it in such a haughty, bitchy, condescending, self-rightious, manner. She should be proud. This country has handed her everything and a bag of chips. She's a beer heiress who had tons of dough when she married the senator and is probably some brainless society twat(yes, that's "twat" with an "a") who went to Miss Snotbottom's College for Stupid Rich Bitches and majored in cheerleading and minored in landing an upper crust husband. Don't cha just wanna slap people like that? She couldn't carry Michelle Obama's sports bra, nor Hillary's either, for that matter. She needs to just STFU and stand there and wave like a good little barbie.
So a tip of the Bugg antenae to you, Mrs. Obama. You showed us all how a real high class person behaves and I for one am proud that YOU are an American.

I like Mrs. Obama. I think she's a class act and would make a great first lady, if you don't win, of course.

Thats what I like about you buggs,,, you can see the truth, and lots of people cannot handle the truth. Everything you said is the truth.
College degree, success, no one just said "here have some success". Hard work got it!

Oh my and 9 months to go of this garbage--has this election really been fought for now over 100 years or does it just seem that way?!?!?

I agree with you. It seems like these idiots don't have anything of substance to talk about, so they throw this trivial garbage at us. The media, The Hillary camp, and the Rush Limbaughs of the world are going to condemn people who have been ashamed of this country's actions at times, especially recently, then I guess I'll have to go to the head of the line.
For some reason or other, these idiots believe that you question the government or criticize the "leaders", that you are unpatriotic. In fact, the greatest patriots this country has ever known have been folks who have gone against the status quo - George Washington, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Martin Luther King, just to name a few.
And even if Michelle Obama made an error in speech, so what? Who hasn't? Hasn't every single one of us said things that didn't come out right?
I'm not an Obama fan, but, for Christ's sake, let it alone! It would serve this country so much better if the people who are criticizing Mrs. Obama now in order to make political hay found something of real substance to dwell on.

ok then.
I just don't think that was a wise thing to say...
Sure we all have doubts about the US at times, but this is the first time in her adult life that she was really proud of her country?
To me that's just a sad thing to say...
