Ah yes! The pleasures of exercise! When i first started out running and lifting weights, I could tell you EXACTLY how many muscles I had in my old bod, because EVERY DAMNED ONE OF THEM was screaming bloody murder!
Nice to have you here again! Don't you just LOVE the changing seasons? I think I'll always need to live in a place that has summer, fall, winter and spring. I truly love all four seasons.
Excellent advice, Grump! As the great Bob Hope used to sing,"Thanks for the mammaries!"
"JASPER". huh? Well, James ORVILLE Hetrick agrees with everything you've said here! (And I don't know how to make popcorn or build an airplane.) I'm glad you're walking, Buggs! Exercising gives me a great sense of accomplishment too. And I LOVE being out in the quiet, peaceful, pre-dawn hours with the deer and my dog, before the people awaken and start screwing things up!
I hope all is well!
I loved the Golden Compass, (I watched it without a little one in sight). It was the first time I ever saw Nicole Kidman as a villain, and, I must say, it was a little disconcerting! (By the way, being American, I read the past paragraph in this blog about a dozen times...I haven't a CLUE what you said!)
Beautiful boats! Boats like those make me want to go down to the marina...and KICK my boat!
Well HELLOOOOOOOOOOO JEREMY! I am sorry that you have withheld your political views thus far for fear of being ridiculed. I personally am fairly liberal in my political stands, however, I am always open to frank and honest debates. I often remind people that because we do live in the greatest country on earth, we are allowed to disagree with one another an NOT be persecuted for our different opinions. We can learn so much from each other if enter discussions with open minds and hearts. We limit ourselves when we close our minds. Nice to finally meet you, Jeremy! Glad you're here!
These are INCREDIBLE shots!!!!! The gliding pics are absolutely AMAZING!!!!! I agree with you 1000% when you say that Switzerland was your favorite country. Mine too. I spent a summer in Interlaken and Lucerne, and even though there was a drunken episode when I fell off a ferry in Lake Lucerne after a wine and fondue party, I can say that my impressions of the country comparable to yours! Thanks SO MUCH for sharing all of the wonderful photos!!!!!
Spectacular shots! I've never been to Venice nor Verona, and have always wanted to go there. These pics have ignited my wanderlust once again!
Hmmmm... Looks like somebody has developed a HUGE gelato addiction!!!
Great decorations! I notice you've got a bunch of cornstalks on the porch. Here in CT, I saw the other day that some places are selling cornstalks for $6.00 a stalk! Man! I could have made a FORTUNE when I grew corn on my farm in Maine!
You know what? Even though they did this vote suppression, the bastards STILL couldn't get a popular vote majority to win either of the two elections that they stole!
Goose bumps. SERIOUS goose bumps! Someday soon, I post a blog about my two close encounters with ghosts.
Hope you feel better, and I 'm glad your happy! Happy belated birthday, by the way! I too love the fall!
Burt Lancaster! What a fabulous actor! Excellent in The Birdman of Alcatraz (and just about every other movie in which he ever appeared!) too! And Pale Rider! One of my favorites! "Nothing like a good piece of hickory!"
