We are half way through week one of the school holidays and all still sniffling and sneezing. Today is the first nice day for near a week. But can I get the little wild ones outside to play? Can I thump!! They would far rather go round the place wielding dusters and and knocking heck out of each other than running around or playing outside on their bikes. I have to say it is cold out though so I don't really blame them and we were out this morning at the chemist trying to get some more meds sorted out to help us shift what ever it is. But I think I am going to have to go to the doctor's tomorrow and try and get some antibiotics or something as this has dragged on long enough for it just to be a viral infliction. Besides I am fed up feeling knackered and stinking of Olbas Oil.
It is quite nice though as we are all cosied up inside watching "The Golden Compass" - I think it is a film that you need to watch minus kids as I keep losing track of where we are at and J is forever asking why things are happening. He doesn't accept "just because..." as well as he used to!! LOL
It is refreshing as well as they are all playing in blissful harmony...unheard of in our house for the lull between spats to be longer than 5 minutes.
Better go and try and see what wonders I can rustle up for tea - omlettes or something I think tonight as I can't be arsed and my freezer is lacking some bung it in the oven treats. I guess I need to do an online Tesco shop tonight, oh joy.
