I read the book about a year ago... A real page turner. There are very few movies that compare well to the book. The more I see and hear about this movie the less I want to see it.

Best of luck with your interview.

I know this is common practice in Scandinavia. It is also being spoken about in Scotland to try and introduce it here. I think actually giving new mothers useful items is better than vouchers etc. That can be the case here as part of the benefits system in Britain.

I'm sure the boxes won't cost a great deal and I'm sure the pharmaceutical companies help a bit to stock them. If they don't hey should.

Breast feeding is great as long as it suits you and your baby. Not everyone is able to have supply meet demand etc. Mastitis was my big issue. My first born was tiny and my boobs were bigger than his head and my initial milk production was far greater than demand for a few weeks until a feeding pattern was established. I often had hot, tender, engorged breasts and was always on the look out for Savoy cabbage leaves! Not very attractive to have a green leaf sticking outta your bra but what relief it did bring.

I think this is a great idea. That said Royal Mail are away to put the price of our stamps up to a rediculous level at the end of the month!

Very pretty... I loved when my babies were small enough to wear beautiful hand knitted cardigans etc.

I haven't heard of this, but being in the UK that probably isn't a surprise though. You have to wonder at these "reality" shows as to how much is reality and how much scripted and directed. Good to see how the other half live though

Most weddings I have been to are normally traditional scottish affairs. Kilts, bagpipes and ceilidh dancing. It is great to get a chance of different traditions and customs though. Vodka=sorehead!!

We are lucky over here in that we have the National Health Service which means that you can just walk in and you will get the best treatment available in your area. Although the way David Cameron and Co are going it will be divvied up to various private firms resulting in a poor shadow of it's former self.

My best was pretending to be pregnant when I was desperate for the loo. I shouldn't be impressed that folk fell for it as it means my stomach crunches aren't working .... But hey when you gotta go!!!

Looks interesting - Might try it when we have spuds that have been on the go awhile and their skin isn't so tasty to eat.
