The Lergy ... Again!

Ok... I am on a moan fest so read on with caution.
I feel like D U N G!!! It has been a good while since I have felt this carp so I guess it is just my time. I have had a cough, which was worse at night, for over three weeks. This equates to the last time I had a mild cold. I was a funny cough though, I didn't feel ill just barked like a dog and houghed up phlegm like an old guy! Nice. NOT!!
Anyway I took myself to the doctors regarding the cough last week and he prescribed me some Alupent. He is now querying mild asthma given that I always end up with a troublesome cough. Well me being me horsed on with the meds and didn't read the literature. Well, within 5 minutes  I had a tremour in my hands and my legs felt weakened. Then I felt heart palpitations and it was also starting to race a little. *digs out the lit to see what the side effects are* OMG I have just suffered the first few on the list! What like shite is this I have been given? It is actually the same medicine he gave my 5 yo last Christmas - well he'll not be getting it again if it does that to you. He never complained but how is  5yo meant to know that a racing heart and a shake is not the norm?!
So I quit the meds after 1 dose and decided to ride out the infliction.  All was going well until thursday when I woke with the scratchy throat that heralds the onset of a cold. Oh lucky me just in time for the school holidays. I am now waiting for my cold to pass and the cough to follow. I will go back to the docs if it does and see about something else. Maybe an inhailer or something to relieve the situation. When I was breathing in deeply I felt a right rattle at the bottom of my lung but now I have the cold that has gone.
So here I sit typing my blog and allowing chaos to happen all around. My daughter is sleeping - well she has been awake since six and successfully broke the leg of my specks! My eldest son is camped infront of Ben 10 (but is atleast dressed) and my middle child is no where close to being dressed and is infact waking up the aforementioned speck murderer! Oh joy better go and neck a Lemsip and get ready to face the enemy.
