Please do me a favor-take the time to watch both videos.
The first is a recording of F.D.R. It is a response to the attack on Pearl Harbor. This day was a day that began WWII. A day that the greatest generation of Americans was born. It was also a day of state sponsored terror and a day we vowed to stop it.
On September 11th another President had to make a speech to the American Public. It also was a speech about a terrorist act.
It is amazing how alike they are.
A wise man once said that if you forget your past your are doomed to relive it.

I watched both...I agree! Both caught the U.S. offguard. In the first instance, however, we kept our eye on the guilty party until we conquered them. I fear this time that we have lost sight of where the real terrorists are hiding and plotting.

The USA entered WW2 after the war raged 4 years. I'm glad we held off, and glad we jumped in when we did.
You CANNOT compare the "Bush wars" to WW2 in any way. Unless your stupid. Absolutely nothing that makes them the same. The USA was "Heroes" in WW2.. the Usa is the "dicks" now. It's not the same.. Bush sealed that in the minds of Europe. We look bad to the world, cause we are no longer the good guys (Thanks Republicans)...
Anyway.. whatever... Just a simple thought of mine...
