Been sick with a code all day-that’s not true I started coming down with it yesterday. And I sure picked a great day to have to lie on the couch. It has been wet, cold and rainy. The weather sure fits how I feel.

But the good thing is-I have been able to lie on the couch, read a James Patterson novel, watch reruns of NCIS and eat comfort food. With no guilt.

I did see one thing that was scary. I noticed what I was wearing. I have a on a pair of bright green knitted slippers, blue and green plaid house pants and a red long sleeve undershirt with Mickey Mouse embroidered on the chest. And I wonder why there is no woman in my life.

I have last Sundays New England Boiled Dinner (corn beef, cabbage, onions, carrots and potatoes) reheating on the stove. Boy it smells good. If I ever met a woman that smelled that good.

Don’t feel bad about me being sick. I have totally enjoyed my day home sick.
