Yellow Green Farmers Market in Hollywood

Allen
and I decided to take a drive down to Hollywood and spend some time at
the Yellow Green Farmers Market. It supposedly is the largest farmer's
market in South Florida but you couldn't prove it by me! They advertise
it being over 100,000 square feet and having over 300 booths of wares.
Yes it is big and there are a lot of vendors but prices were high and
produce didn't look special. For people who are into farmer's markets
this might be just for you but I don't think Allen and/or I will go
back. Here are some of the pictures I took as we walked around.

In Colorado in the summer, if you go at the end of the day, some of them don't want to take what they have left back home, so they have bargains - a whole bag of cucumbers for $1, etc. If I'd lived nearby, I might have checked that out on a regular basis.

I too love wandering around markets - the pottery 'plant pots' I think they are caught my eye (I am looking for a couple of them, as it happens).
I bet you had a great day browsing around

Even though everything was expensive I would love to just browse through a market that big. I especially loved the colorful pots. Your pictures are great.

There were so many samples being given out you could have had breakfast, lunch and dinner there plus wash it down with tea, coffee and wine samples!!!
