I know about old cars is that Bill has two Fords from the 1920s that he
has restored (and the first picture is for him) and takes to shows and
parades plus Allen is a sucker for old cars so I suggested we go.
I was in awe of so many of the cars and wanted a few!!! There was a doctor's car, a flower car, convertibles , sedans along with such memorabilia as dashboard clocks, cigarette lighters, a fire engine, uncountable hood ornaments, side mirrors and lamps
There
is a two hour film telling the whole history of Packards until the day
they became 'PackardBakers' and eventually went bankrupt--no, the
government didn't bail them out.
Aside from all the Packard cars there is a beautiful wood bar, a special
room dedicated to Franklin Delano Roosevelt, rooms for corporate
functions, fundraisers, private parties, special events, wedding, etc.
I wonder if I might not think of this as a place for me 19th Leap Year
birthday party IF I start saving my pennies now!
