(Looking at my desktop page I saw 50 photos from 2022 and decided to get them posted and then stop taking so many pictures--including 'selfies!--plus cut back on postings! I have too many new books to read to spend so much time on the Internet.)
AN OLD MAN OR JUST WELL ORGANIZED!?!?!?
My Saturday morning (well whatever time I get up!) routine
While I boil the pot of water for a cup of coffee and 2 cups of tea (photos #2) I am busy getting my meds (photos #1) made up for 3 weeks. I take 18 meds and split them to 9 in the morning (I get up at 4 AM to have the first batch and go right back to sleep!) and 9 in the evening.
While I drink my coffee I will put the 2 bags of salad (photos #3) and their condiments (bacon plus dressing) adding fresh chopped onions, into a bowl, mix it all up and then divide it into 5 portions and wrap each salad in plastic adding tomatoes when I go to eat it.
(For those calorie counting---LIKE ME!--each salad is 225 calories.)
While drinking a cup of tea (I recently started that tea drinking) I mix a bowl of sliced fresh mushrooms, a vegetable alternating between corn, beans, carrots, etc., (#4 photos) and pasta and distribute it among 5 dinner dishes topping it with either chicken, turkey, meatballs, veal or seafood--some of the plates will get rice or black beans, onions, etc,. I then will wrap each in recycled plastic wrap and I am almost set for a delicious meal.
I am now ready to eat dinner Saturday through Wednesday--let's not discuss Thursday & Saturday!!
