1) "Madame"--Heretv/Prime Amazon--documentary--1 hour & 33 minutes--a grandson comes out to his grandmother--Caroline, 93, the grandmother, is a remarkable woman who did many things before women were 'allowed' to do--I am not making light of her grandson's coming out (who also wrote and directed this film) but the grandmother mesmerized me--I want you to discover the woman yourself so all I will say is that she got divorced in her 20s because she didn't love her husband--she started and had 3 different successful businesses but it is how she sees her life near the end of the film and talks about love or the lack of it in her life--she only disappointed me once but redeemed herself--I LOVE MADAME CAROLINE!


2) "Call Me Kate"--Netflix--Documentary--1 hour & 26 minutes--using newly uncovered audio and video tapes we get to know a new Kate--for those too young to know her and who she was and those that think they know her this shows we didn't--many lessons for all on how to handle old age--FASCINATING WOMAN--EXCELLENT


3) "Queen Cleopatra"--Netflix--docuseries--4 episodes--3 hours--she fights to protect her throne, family and legacy--controversial as far as casting goes but she is/was another woman before her time--not a Hollywood movie but gets that way a little near the end--SHE WAS INTERESTING A MYSTERY AND IS A GOOD FILM SUBJECT AS SHOWN BY THE MANY FILMS MADE ABOUT HER


4) "War Sailor"--Netflix--series based on real events--3 episodes--3 hours--Alfred & Wally set out on an 18-month assignment on a Merchant Marine ship to New York through war-infested waters-- a war story with all the cliches except for one twist--I ALMOST STOPPED WATCHING HALF WAY THROUGH BUT CONTINUED TO THE END--GLAD I DID--SEE THE CREDITS!


5) "Varisu"--Prime Amazon--Hindi movie--2 hours & 48 minutes-- a brother takes over the family business much to the anger of his brothers--this is fantasy like where else can one guy fight 50 and not get a scratch--BOLLYWOOD AT ITS BEST--3 SHOWSTOPPING MUSICAL NUMBERS--A GOOD STORY WITH TEARS


6) "The Son"--Netflix--movie--2 hours & 2 minutes--building a life with a new family following divorce an overachieving father faces new obstacles--good acting--Hugh Jackman is not aging very well-- I don't believe a writer and/or director has Anthony Hopkins in their film and only gives him 2 minutes--A GOOD FILM BUT COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH BETTER


7) "Missing"--Netflix--movie--1 hour & 50 minutes--when June's mother & her new boyfriend doesn't return the tech-savvy teenager undertakes her own online investigation--I WAS COMPLETELY FOOLED BY THE FIRST 'ENDING' & FELT LIKE A FOOL WITH THE SECOND ENDING


8) "Mascaprone"--HereTV--movie--1 hour & 41 minutes--Antonio is a family man whose life takes an expectant twist when dumped by his husband--like many gay men he turns to sex to escape his problems only to find more--IT ISN'T ANYTHING SPECIAL BUT IS A GOOD FILM
