Under the Sea--a Movie Review

I didn't get a bit wet, didn't have to wear a wet suit, didn't have to go snorkeling or deep sea diving and yet I felt as if I spent 40 minutes under the sea. Seeing the ocean in 3 D on an IMAX screen is dazzling, amazing and a great experience.
Was I really kissed by a sea lion? Did I duck when the sea snakes came toward me? Probably not but it felt like I was and did!!
Yes,
as any film about under the ocean, there was the great white shark but
it didn't attack anyone. There were also dainty looking sea dragons and
the mating of cuttle fish along with a very restrained and excellent
narrative by Jum Carrey.

I don't usually quote press releases but this one tells you as it is:
Under The Sea 3D
UNDER THE SEA 3D
offers a uniquely inspirational and entertaining way to explore the impact that
global climate change has had on ocean wilderness. The new IMAX 3D adventure
will transport moviegoers to some of the most exotic and isolated under sea
locations on earth, including Southern Australia, New Guinea and others in the
Indo-Pacific region and allow them to experience face-to-face encounters with
some of the most mysterious and stunning creatures of the sea. Get ready to take
a one-of-a-kind tropical plunge and witness some of the most colorful and
intriguing creatures of our oceans in IMAX® 3D!
