This is Scary!

I was not aware that you are NOT allowed to
take pictures anywhere in a hospital--we were told after these were
taken--too bad the flash didn't work or maybe it was a good thing or
they would scrare you silly--I NEVER looked so bad--it was
right after the operation--they put heavy, white socks on my legs,
that's an IV in my left hand--and 2 ID bands--there were 3 but the
surgeon wouldn't operate if I insisted on DNR--that's a whole other
story and just part of what is so crazy with our health system, not to
mention the absurd waste but more about that later.

You are right about scary. Without the flash, the photos look like a scene from an old horror movie.

The flash from a camera may ignite some gas in the room...not a pretty sight! Causes all kinds of work for folks there.

I remember seeing Kenneth right after his open heart surgery...it was a little scary, but I had worked in a hospital and knew what to expect...still it's a little unnerving..

Hey, you look like someone in one of those grainy, jumpy, silent movie scenes! I could swear I recognize that scene from some movie, but the name escapes me now. Well, anyway, I will be honest with you...you certainly have had better looking days than the one shown here. But, that's why you are called a patient...you have to be patient for you to be completely back to your old self. Now, keep that camera put away somewhere and stop breaking the rules!

Surgery like that is definitely a rough ride, but you will be good as new once the recovery is done with. I hope you are feeling a little better.

yes,I could have told you this on taking pictures.
Unless that you ask for permission.
Otherwise, you may upset the procedure there.
How are you doing there Pal.
