Never too soon--I will be celebrating it EVERY day of February--just in case anyone is interested I do accept baked goods as presents! Also, not being shy, I will post of list of things I need/want for my birthday--that's just so people don't waste money on things I won't use--isn't that nice of me????

Somebody sent me a $25 gift card for Applebee's and I went on Wednesday in Findlay, OH. I was surprised at how the chain has shaped up since I last went to one in California in 2003 or 4. They have an expanded menu and everything looked good.I was very happy with the quality of the food and the service. The portions were large. Decent coffee, too, and that is important to me in a restaurant.

To me it was just average and with the thousands of restaurants here average isn't good enough
