I thought I would be smart and get an early start
today hopefully getting back before the afternoon rains began and I did. It
never rained!! LOL
First stop was getting a haircut. I went to
Supercuts for the first time after talking to a few neighbors yesterday. As
always the first time some one cuts my haircut I let them do what they want. I
wasn't particularly happy or unhappy with the results but then I always look
good! :O)
I am watching the National Spelling Bee and the kids
absolutely amaze me. I haven't heard of most of the words let alone be able to
use them in a sentence. Heck, I can't even spell some of the kids names. They
are all winners!! One of the kids, Kennyi, has charm and personality to spare
plus being a great speller--I am sort of pulling for him to win.

Dolores Hope celebrated her 100 birthday today. A
star in her own right she 'retired' after marrying Bob Hope appearing now and
then with him. She looks good.
Seems one person won the $222million powerball
lottery. He/she came from a town of 2,200 people. Though he odds were 1 in 195
million someone had to win--see YOU should have played. Oh well, Allen and I
did but we didn't win--didn't even get 3 numbers. :O(
Little by little learning how the printer, copier,
scanner and fax machine works--though I won't be using the latter (by the way
for those who don't know you don't need a separate telephone number to have send
or receive a fax) I had to figure out how to do the scanning. I called HP to get
a hard copy manual but they don't have one!!!
