Republicans, Trees, Avatar Contest, Generations

"Confidential to American Ladies: Republicans took the House after campaigning on jobs, debt and taxes. But it's been nonstop assaults on Planned Parenthood and reproductive freedom ever since. The GOP is always going on about how they want to shrink the size of government, and now we know why. They want to stuff the government in your vagina." Dan Savage ********************************************************

Get scared, very scared: See what the Republican Governor, the majority Republican House and Senate are doing regarding voting rights, abortion and health care in Florida. Not only is it more government in citizen's lives but 58% of the voters (and Florida is Republican territory) are against what they are doing but they are doing it anyway. Oh and the Tea Party is silent. **************************************************

It’s Spring in South Florida with our Crepe Myrtle and Frangipani trees are in full bloom. While the former doesn't have an aroma the latter's fragrance will knock you off your feet in a good way! ******************************************************

WOW! I got over 84 voters in the avatar contest!! I am busy getting the tallies and will present the top 5 vote getters and then, for the final vote, will post a blog showing them and letting you vote for the final winner. Are you ready to vote and win? If you haven't voted yet just go to blogs with subject line GREATMARTIN'S AVATAR CONTEST--there are 3 each giving a step. *************************************************

I've noticed that 40-50 year olds tell 20-30 year olds what they should do just as 70 year olds tell EVERYONE what they should do but to no avail. Things change from decade to decade and what may have applied 10 years ago doesn't apply anymore. In other words each generation has to live their own life, not ours, and they won't listen to their elders just as you didn't--so save your breath. ************************** ***********************
