Moon Over/under/on Ft. Lauderdale 11/15/08

I went down to the Point around 8:15 and the moon was
so beautiful--I went back and got my camera but these pictures don't do
the moon or the scenes justice-- absolutely beautiful!!!! The first 4
pictures are over the Bay with the
moon between the ocean and the bay over the city while the last two are
taken from the walkway going to my apartment which is between the two
electric lights.

It isn't easy to get night shots, especially when the subject is far away. And, hey, Martin, you can't get much further away than the moon, now can you? I think you did rather well. The sun, moon, and stars are not the best models for a still picture...I've had a whole pile of bad pictures pile up on me...so most of the time they don't really capture all of the beauty the photographer's eye sees, but they are pretty nice pictures and it's nice to see the moon out so clearly.

At least we get out there and try to capture the moment. Maybe... someday... we will get that perfect pic. Yes, daboyz do a great job of photography. I always enjoy the pics they post.

I know... the moon has been beautiful lately. I blogged about it yesterday. In the past, I've tried to get pictures of the moon... but I can't seem to capture the beauty of what I am seeing with my own eye. Fact is, by the time my camera stops taking the pic, the moon has moved and I've got a series of moons in the same photo. Either that or I'm just to old and shakey to take a clear picture.
