made a decision NO DOCTORS IN THE MONTH OF DECEMBER!!!! I am taking a month off
from primary, psychologist, urologist , cardiologist or any other
'gist'!!!!

This past week I had more good days than bad days but not a
great day---YET! Still haven't figured out the tranquillizer
dosage that will work but keep at it.
First, and probably, immediate, problem is that I have a very,
very loose bottom tooth that can fall out at any minute. Went to my dentist of
close to 30 years who said I could wait until it falls out or he can take it out
but that I would have to check with my primary and cardiologist as to how long
as I would have to be off the warfarin (blood thinner) before he can pull
it--also said that he would be able to replace it using my current partial plate
so cost will be a minimum--I have decided to wait until it falls out on it's own
or I accidently knock it out--probably will happen on a weekend when a
dentist won't be available!!
Went to the vascular surgeon. I told him that I wasn't really
ready mentally to have the two operations I needed--one on each leg--he said
that it wasn't an emergency and that it could wait unless gangrene sets into
a toe or something like that--I didn't need to hear that!!! In any case my
next appointment with him is in May--Please, please. no gangrene before (or
after) that.
Next on the list is the ophthalmologist. Both my eyes have been
red and irritated. He gave me drops that I took for a week and didn't help so he
gave me a stronger eye drop. After reading the possible side effects---it seems
I could lose my sight!--I've hesitated about taking them but I am only I
cut the dosage.
I have now seen the psychologist 4 times. He is a good listener,
keeps on encouraging me, assures me that everything will take a turn for the
better sooner than I expect and that he is there to hang in with
me.
I took my first exercise class this past Tuesday--probably the
first time I have exercised since the Marines 50+ years ago. Actually it wasn't
that bad--in reality it lasted 30 minutes and was very simple exercises.
There was one other guy plus 8 women, all Spanish who only spoke Spanish, and
the two women who led the group. I will go back on Tuesday.
Tomorrow I'll get into the noise, ear and throat doctor, the
diagnostic tests, the results, yoga, a 6 week life style course not to forget
visits coming up this week to urologist, gastronomist, cardiologist, the
suggestion to see a geronologist
and other health issues like vocal
chords!!
