I was going to do a follow up to yesterday's blog, "I love..." with a ,
"I hate..." blog but then I started thinking how do you 'hate' a
thing?? A vegetable? A car model? A phone? If indifference is the
opposite of love then it wouldn't fit this category as I am not
indifferent to the subjects listed.
Yes, I can hate people
who are homophobic and/or bullies or who boast about beating up gays,
who treat women with disrespect but, luckily there have been very few of
those in my life.
So I have decided to use the term dislike.
I dislike:
christians who aren't Christian
people who try to make themselves feel
better by putting others down
people who put on that, "Who me?" innocent little look after they put someone down
people who boast about how bad, nasty, evil they can be as if that is an accomplishment
cell phones used in public
phones in general
people who won't help people when they can
long lines for anything, anywhere
not being able to eat/drink whatever I want without getting fat/drunk
those who play 'poor little me', 'if it wasn't for you', 'yes, but' games
People who use their illness to get negative attention
America's idolization of/ fascination with and condoning bad behaving of downbeat 'celebrities'
parents/adults who harm their children in any way
con/scam artists preying on the poor and/or the elderly
parents not accepting their child for who they are
hurting
someone emotionally and/or physically--I did once and have never
forgotten it--I have forgiven, and forgotten, those who hurt me.
I
can understand a blogger not 'coming out' but I dislike their being
quiet when gay people are being attacked in blogs, especially those in their 20s
Constant moaners, whiners, injustice collectors who won't let go and/or change
Oh, yes, I dislike candied fruits--not that I won't eat them!
being from the 'old school' ,vulgar and/or drunk women
I
can deal/live with most of the above and in every way have rid myself
of negative people in my life and when I have a perfect day like it has
been in Ft. Lauderdale today I want to share it with EVERYONE!!!!
