and got caught up on some of my reading--the magazines and books pile
up before I know it!! Took a few magazines and went down to the point
where I stretched out on one on the beach chairs, enjoyed the sun,
breeze and hearing the boats on the water go by as I read.
Took a few walks around the Gateway property every now and then--spent some time with the birds--now that I have locked the tiels
out of the closet where I keep the paper towels so they can't shred
them anymore they now have moved over to the other cabinet to tear the
wrappings off the battery packages!!!
Keeping
an ear and eye open on Hannah which is now a number one
hurricane--supposedly will keep 200 miles east of us which means rain
and winds--and now there is Ike--the tropics are busy this season--poor
New Orleans!!
Terry, Chuck and the Memphis teams are in Seattle this week for the softball championships--understand Memphis isn't doing that good. :O(

It's
Gino's birthday tomorrow and I am taking him out for dinner at a new
restaurant called Salute--will, of course, report about the food!

Hope
you all had a peaceful Labor Day weekend--back to the old grind
tomorrow--except for those of us who are retired and are always on
holiday!!
