Yes, rainy season has hit South Florida and is now going into it's pattern--a heavy rain in the
morning, clear in the afternoon and then rain again around 5 PM. Check out the sky!!

As
many of you know I am obsessive (Nuts? Crazy?  Insane?) about my
weight. In the past couple of weeks, without any other changes, since I
have started taking Atrovent 17 days ago my weight has increased a couple of pounds each week.
Granted I haven't been that 'good' as far as my diet goes but I haven't
been particularly 'bad'. I was very
careful the past three days, including being exact as far as
nutritional count goes what I am eating and where normally I would drop
2-3 pounds I haven't dropped an ounce this time. I plan to keep an
exact food diary keeping my calories to 2000 or less a day and see what
happens this week. IF it is the medicine I'll make  a decision.
Hey, I didn't gain any weight when I stopped smoking and putting on
weight can't/won't be any good for my C.O.P.D.

WE
have a new catamaran docked at Gateway that Allen will have to take a
look at. It is supposedly the widest one made and has two steering
wheels, one on each side. It is named Lord Dickie and is out of Gibraltar. It's supposedly here for a race. It is wide and the mast pole is the highest I have ever seen.

Alright, I know it is supposedly 'Memorial Day" but as far as I'm concerned it will always be on May 30!!!

It
is now 4:30 PM and the sky is getting very dark and it is starting to
drizzle before the big rain starts coming down--and we are still short,
about 3 inches, of water to be at the normal range--and next week we
will probably be yelling about flooding--welcome to the 'rainy season'
in South Florida. I still get my two hours in the sun at the pool every
afternoon!
