New Foods and Peppers

Are the French copying American delis? They are offering a 'everything' croissant--a takeoff on the American 'everything' bagel? How could I not try it. Sorry France, back to the drawing board for you! I put a batch of chicken breasts in my crock-pot and emptied the bottle of Honey Mustard dressing and marinade made with Avocado oil over it. (Okay, okay--I don't have the patience to marinade!) It was delicious so next I will give the Caesar bottle a try. After a long quiet time it looks like my pepper plant is not giving up! 7 peppers so far that I have used in salads and cauliflower rice. There are 4 new ones growing and getting ready to be eaten. I threw a few more pepper seeds in another pot along with tomato seeds and even some cherry pits and--why not?--some apricot pits! Will let you know the results---good or bad.

No--I do it under 'slow'

There are so many better ways that I prefer. Tonight I had drum sticks (free, I'd never by them) patted down with bread crumbs and baked/broiled in the toaster oven. I'm still not willing to pay good money for them but they are actually quite tasty and easy to eat with the crumbs.

I do that--only in the crock pot and use the thighs!

That's great that you can grow a pepper plant indoors! I do chicken hooter for Donna in the crockpot on a bed of onion. Maybe I'll try a half or 2 in the small crock and see how she likes that. I personally prefer my chicken meat dork with the skin on so I don't get involved in crockpot chicken.

Why can't you do 'dork' meat in a crackpot??
