On
November 8 I fell flat on my face saying hello to the sidewalk. The
face was pretty well beaten up and I had a few bruises on my body but
luckily I didn't break anything. The picture on the left was taken
November 10 and the one on the right (and below) were taken December 10.
I was very surprised that I healed so quickly as taking warfarin--a
blood thinner--healing usually takes a very long time.

On
another subject--food---after the movie on Friday we went to the
Outback as they were having a 6 ounce sirloin special, with a choice of 2
sides, for $9.99 Now for most people a 6 ounce piece of meat is
enough but for me it fills, maybe, one cavity, but between the beef, the
potato, broccoli and 2 loaves of bread I must admit I was satisfied and
we didn't even have dessert!!

Next
door, at another restaurant, for whatever reason, they had a row of old
cars parked in front and as soon as I spotted the red convertible I
knew I was going to buy it after I won the lottery this week!
