Dolores was coming over to clean my apartment--I am trying to get
her to come over next Tuesday also so, maybe, I can fool Alfredo and
Michael to think my place is always clean!!--and since I like to get
out of her way I asked Allen if he would like to go to the movies and
he said yes.
Allen's friend Andre had arrived last night from the
NorthEast and though the weather was cool today it was a big
improvement over the winter he had been having. Hopefully it will warm
up this weekend so he can get some 'color' and, maybe, go to Haulover,
the nude beach, without freezing any body parts off!! LOL He is
thinking of taking the full day cruise to the Bahamas on Monday
(Michael, Fredo I'll see what he say about it and if it only costs $59!!!)
We went down to The Riverfront:
                                    
and
had lunch at the Palm Grill where they have $3.99 lunches if you buy a
beverage--of course with coffee, soda and ice tea costing $1.99 they
don't lose any money.
                                   
Allen and I had the chicken sandwich and Andre had the chicken wrap.
           
Inside the Palm Grill--for some reason (DUH!!) Andre liked the waiter!
                                 
After lunch we took a walk along the river to see the boats--that's Andre on the left--Allen on the right.
                               
We then went to the Sunrise Riverfront Cinema to see "Taken" (See my review).
All
in all a pleasant afternoon and it was good seeing Andre
again--hopefully we will; have a few warm, sunny days for him and we
will get together to go to The Cheesecake Factory before he leaves!
