it was a shaky Sunday for me waking up on the edge of a anxious morning
but not having an anxiety attack--as Allen says, I think too much!!!
Cookie
came with me to this month's Mended Hearts support group meeting and
the rap session went a lot better than it had in the past. It was a
case where 'today' was spoken about more than 'yesterday'--in other
words not about operations but after affects. It is also beginning to
get into my head that after 5.5 months I am doing pretty good but far
from perfect and I have to expect bad days or mornings like I had today!

After there was Doctor who spoke on/about diabetes who, fortunately, had a good power point presentation because her Jamaican accent was really too heavy for many of us to understand what she was saying!
We had a little radiator problem driving her 1989 Buick LaSabre but it got us home and that's the bottom line. It is a good solid car--and they certainly don't make those anymore!
After
spending some time having a good chat on the breezeway with about 7-8
neighbors and the new pastor (who mentioned Warren and I bit my
tongue!!!)with one of the ladies bringing a pitcher of martinis I am now home making dinner (chicken and salad--I am expecting a good
weight loss when I weigh in tomorrow!!!) and getting ready to watch the
Golden Globe Awards---sort of pushing for Sean Penn and Kate Winslet to win--and though the day started out shaky it turned out okay!
Not surprised on Slumdog.
Winslet got two of them.
