It's Father's Day so there are barbques or taking Dad out to dinner.
It is the basketball playoffs which will be on all night.
Tiger Woods is playing in the US Open so it will run into TV primetime.
TVland is having an Award show with a lot of old timers.

WATCH THE 62ND TONY AWARDS SHOW ON CBS STARTING AT 8 PM TONIGHT!!!!

I timed things so well, almost. I went out with family for Father's Day dinner and made it home after only missing half an hour of the Tony's. I would check on the basketball scores during commercial breaks, and the game was still on after the Tony's were over, so I got to see the rest of the game. I didn't get everything you mentioned accomplished, but I did get the biggest part of most accomplished.
