Knowing I am
going to win the Powerball or the Lotto tonight Allen and I decided to go to the 2010 Fort Lauderdale Automobile Show to take
a look at what car I want to buy. I do know it needs to be a
convertible and bright red. I have never been to a car show that I can
remember so I didn't know what to expect but I certainly didn't expect
what I saw. There wasn't 'a car of the future' that you stopped said,
"WOW!" and wondered if it would be sold in your life time. Oh sure there
was a small electric car and a few convertibles but nothing that would
stop traffic!
There were a few
brightly colored cars but, to me, that seemed to be the only difference
between the Audis, BMWs, Cadillacs, Toyotas, Infinitis, etc. They all looked
like boxes and except for prices ranging from $16,000 for a Smart Car to
$104,000 for a Jaguar I saw that 'my' car wasn't here. They just don't
make cars like they use to! I want my white 1970 Caddy convertible or my
1971 hot red Chevy convertible (below).
Below are just some of the pictures I took at
the show. I don't know one car brand from another so except for the
Smart Car don't ask me which is which!
