to return it today as the battery compartment wasn't working right. It
seems more and more that when you buy something you have to return it
or it is missing a part. In any case I went back to the Home Goods
store today and got a new one and so far it is working okay. Now I just
have to wait for Gino to come over and put it up.
On the left is the 'old' clock an on the right the new one

Don't
know whether I am using Alfredo and Michael as an excuse but they are
as good as any for my buying some plants for the window sill in 'their'
alcove. They are coming down for a week in February so I want to make
their corner cozy and last week I bought a primrose plant and today I
bought a tulip and a hyacinth plant--hopefully they will be in full
bloom in February but then again the guys might not want to stay with
me after I write, and post, the blog, "Rules and Regulations when
Staying with Great Martin" LOL
Here are the plants starting with the Hyacinth on the left, tulips in the middle and primrose on the right.

Spent
the afternoon food shopping which I love/enjoy doing, making a game out
of it, like what I would buy if I had the money and/or if I was thin,
seeing the new food items, etc. Food shopping is the ONLY kind of shopping I enjoy!!!
Probably
will watch the Critic Choice Awards tonight on VH1--I like watching
award shows even the cheesiest ones like the People's Choice Awards
last night!
Am waiting to hear from Allen regarding what
showing of "Gran Torino" we will be seeing tomorrow and will be
starting my hourly walk--something new I have been doing--at 9 PM--life is good, folks!
ONe thing about having visitors staying that you get to do something neat there that you would not done earlier.
We will loved this,if it need to be changed around I can do that
