out of bed! Though not actually an anxiety attack something was going on with my
mind and body that I didn't understand. I tried to calm down by going on the
computer and playing a few Free Cell and Hearts game for about an hour thinking
I would try to go back to sleep but it didn't help. Finally, at 9 AM, though I
am weaning myself from the tranquillizer I took a 1/4 of a milligram to quiet
down. I didn't get back to sleep but little by little came back to being myself.
I guess because I was doing so good I thought I wouldn't have anymore 'bad'
days/times but that's not how it works.
Things started to look up about 12 Noon when I got a call from my friend
Larry who I haven't seen in about 4 months. He came over and we visited for
awhile which was great. As he was leaving Allen came from his bowling session
and we decided to go for lunch before running errands. I had wanted to eat as
Simply Delish which is only open for breakfast and lunch and though they have
been in business for awhile I hadn't been there. It is a quaint restaurant with
lots of wall hangings to loiok at and explore. Both of us had the Blueberry
pancakes which they are known for.
After that we went across the street to Pavorello--with Mike and Alfredo
coming down and my only having two coffee mugs I had to get a third and I picked
up one so we could all have coffee/tea together!
The white coffee mug.Next on the agenda was to go over to Home Goods where I wanted to look for a
large wall clock to put on the wall where I have the Dreamgirls poster that is
being chewed up by the birds!
Allen fell in love with it and made me promise to leave it to him in my Will
so if you hear anything happening to me you know where to look!! I am going to
have to wait until Gino comes over to attach my VCR to put the clock up--if I
bang a nail in the wall the whole building will fall down. Besides there might
be a slight problem--it doesn't seem to be keeping the right time and I put a
new battery in--may have to return it!!
Then it was on to the bank to be followed by our going to 7/11 where I bought
my lottery tickets for the including getting tickets for the new Powerball game
being introduced here in Florida. First week jackpot is $105M--I have to do
better than I did/do on plain Lotto--I never get more than 2 numbers and in 20
years haven't won anything!!
All in all what started as a bad day turned out to be okay. I haven't had a
dessert since Christmas Day but I did bend the rule a little bit by having the
blueberry pancakes, which tasted great, got the new coffee mug, a wall clock and
the winning powerball--if I don't win the latter I'll have to start saving up
for the tooth problem mentioned yesterday for which I made an appointment on
March 2nd--I should be psyched up by then!!! LOL
