Blogging is Time Consuming and Work!

I learned very quickly that blogging is very time consuming--between writing and posting blogs, reading and making comments and then responding to comments a lot of the day's time is taken up.
I've done a lot of compromising when it comes to blogging--I use to blog at 5 different blog sites though, granted, many
I just copied and pasted--now I only do that with my movie reviews--now
I post a blog at one site and then copy and post it to only one other
site. I don't makeas many comments as I use to and I have kept responding to comments at a minimum.

Some
days I do get carried away posting 4,5 or even 6 blogs though most are
news stories that I copy and paste but I do try to post one personal
blog a day as my main purpose in blogging is to keep a diary of my
days, my events, my feelings, how I look at life, sharing my
experiences so hopefully others might learn from my mistakes and/or
wisdom.

If I was still working I don't know if I would have the
time, let alone the energy, to blog every day as I committed myself to
do since I started blogging.

It is very understandable to me why Deb, Elfie, AJ, Mary, etc., just to name a few, have to take a break now and then from blogging or why so many others only blog once or twice a week. I really do not understand those who just 'disappea'r without saying anything as I think we all--even those that disappear--invest time and emotion(s) in all the bloggers we read. Seems us retired folks have more time to do the important things--like blog!  LOL

Wish I had more time indeed Martin. I love your personal blogs the most I must admit, just want to read about peoples personal lives. You were one of the first persons I added and I still dont regret that. hugs!

I know that I miss our friends who just disappear.
I promise to come back ASAP. That is ... if I survive! AHHHHHH!
I need to find me a Christmas shopper. Any volunteers?

yeah, I pro'lly should do more but I plead laziness, depression, and at this time, I'm preparing to head to the West. I do treasure all my blog pals and enjoy reading about their adventures and relating my own. It's an important part of my life and its good therapy. Plus it keeps my writing skills and comedic timing sharp. I think of all of you as my cyber "family".

reguards
yer and happy holidays to you, "Uncle" Marty pal

I thought for a moment you were going to announce you were leaving us. I sure hope that doesn't happen. I always enjoy reading what you post. Living out here in the sticks by myself, blogging gives me friends and a community which I need very much. I love blogging!!!! Like fredo, I like to type. I'm a talker and it is a form of talking.
