I learned very quickly that blogging is very time consuming--between writing and posting blogs, reading and making comments and then responding to comments a lot of the day's time is taken up.
I've done a lot of compromising when it comes to blogging--I use to blog at 5 different blog sites though, granted, many
I just copied and pasted--now I only do that with my movie reviews--now
I post a blog at one site and then copy and post it to only one other
site. I don't makeas many comments as I use to and I have kept responding to comments at a minimum.
Some
days I do get carried away posting 4,5 or even 6 blogs though most are
news stories that I copy and paste but I do try to post one personal
blog a day as my main purpose in blogging is to keep a diary of my
days, my events, my feelings, how I look at life, sharing my
experiences so hopefully others might learn from my mistakes and/or
wisdom.
If I was still working I don't know if I would have the
time, let alone the energy, to blog every day as I committed myself to
do since I started blogging.
It is very understandable to me why Deb, Elfie, AJ, Mary, etc., just to name a few, have to take a break now and then from blogging or why so many others only blog once or twice a week. I really do not understand those who just 'disappea'r without saying anything as I think we all--even those that disappear--invest time and emotion(s) in all the bloggers we read. Seems us retired folks have more time to do the important things--like blog! LOL
